School Hike to Pers Glacier
As you might have realized, there will be some free time in between lectures on Saturday 03.09 from 12.30 to 17.00. If you do not yet know what to do you may want to participate in a guided tour to the nearby pers glacier. Pers connects to the morteratsch glacier, the most massive glacier in the eastern alps. A local guide will lead us on a roundtrip of about 3 hours, including a break with a nice view over the glacier. The cost for the tour is subsidized and amounts to 20 CHF per person. Participation is limited to 30 people; first come - first serve!
We organized a second guide, so everyone that signed up in the Doodle can join!Equipmentwise everyone should bring hiking or mountain shoes with good profile, rain or winter jackets, gloves, sunblock, sunglasses and maybe a small backpack to carry your food.
